Web analysis

For analysing user behaviour, Primeo Commerce integrates various analysis tools using cookies and other methods. These comprise:
  • If you contact our customer service, your request will be processed via the Zendesk software (1019 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Your e-mail address will be stored and any other personal data that you provide in your inquiry.
  • If you register for the newsletter, we will forward the data necessary for sending the newsletter to Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA). This data is used exclusively for sending newsletters. In each newsletter, you have the option to unsubscribe from the distribution list.
  • Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (more information about Google Analytics and how to deactivate the service can be found here). The information generated by the cookies about your use of these web pages is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This server may be located outside of Switzerland (in the case of Google Analytics, in the USA). Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the websites, compiling reports on website activity for Primeo Commerce and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. If necessary, this information will be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the tool providers.
  • We have implemented Google Analytics IP address anonymization on this website. This feature was developed by Google to enable this website to comply with applicable data protection regulations and recommendations of local data protection authorities when they prohibit storage of the full IP address. The anonymization or masking of the IP takes place as soon as the IP addresses arrive in the Google Analytics data collection network and before any storage or processing of the data takes place. More information on IP anonymization can be found at
  • Google Analytics Remarketing: Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g. cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC). If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be served on every device on which you log in with your Google account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device ad advertising.
  • Privacy policy of Google Further information and the privacy policy can be found in the privacy policy of Google.
Basis The aggregation of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). In the case of data collection processes that are not merged in your Google account (e.g. because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merging), the collection of data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that we have an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Objection Although we declare legitimate interests in the use and storage of "conversion cookies", we offer opt-out options. You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account.
  • Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking: Our websites use Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
Within the framework of Google Ads, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When disabling cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across Ads customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.
    • Google privacy policy More information on Google Ads and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy.

  • Objection Although we declare legitimate interests in the use and storage of "conversion cookies", we offer you opt-out options. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

  • With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook, on the one hand, to determine you as a visitor to our online offer as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").

The settings are done in a platform-independent manner, which means that they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices. You can further object to the use of cookies that are used for reach measurement and advertising purposes via the Network Advertising Initiative deactivation page and additionally the US website or the European website
